Can I supply my own items for decoration?
Absolutely! EmbroidMe - Farmington Hills welcomes our customers to bring in their own items for decoration. However, we do charge a service fee for providing the additional service. The fee is added to the charges for decoration and is $10 for the first item and $2 for any other items.
I have a piece of leather luggage. Can you put my monogram on it?
Unfortunately we are unable to embroider leather products.
Is there a minimum order necessary?
There is no minimum order for embroidery, heat-applied graphics, or digital garment-printed orders. Silk-screened orders require a minimum order of 12 pieces. Minimum orders for promotional products vary depending on the item.
What is your turn-around time for decorated apparel?
Our standard production time for decorated apparel is 7-10 business days from artwork approval. We can accommodate rush orders but do charge a rush fee for the interruption to our production schedule. The rush fee is based on how quickly we need to complete the order and is as follows:
What is Digital Garment-Printing?
Garment-printing is an in-house process used to print full-color images onto t-shirts and other apparel. Depending on your order, this may be a more cost-effective process than traditional screen-printing. Through digital garment-printing, we can produce full-color images and logos, with no ink or transfer material on top of the fabric. However, we cannot print onto dark colored fabrics such as black or navy.
How should I provide you with my artwork?
For all applications, we prefer vector format artwork such as .eps, .ai, or .cdr files. If you do not have this format, we can use .jpg or most other image files for embroidery set-up and digital garment printing. For screen-printing and promotional products, however, vector format artwork is necessary. We can re-create most artwork for a set-up charge of $65.
